Privacy policy

This policy explains how Eeshani (“we”, “us”), a saree label based in Bengaluru, India, handles personal data on this website. It is written in plain language and is not legal advice.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email address and phone number when you create an account or check out.
• Delivery details: shipping and billing addresses, PIN code and the contact number for the courier.
• Order details: what you bought, the amount, the payment method and the order status.
• Messages: what you write in the contact form or email us, and your email address if you join our newsletter.
• Basic technical data: pages visited, device and browser type, and error logs, used to keep the site working.

We do not collect card numbers, UPI PINs or bank passwords. When online payments are switched on they are handled by the payment provider, not by us.

Why we use it

• To process, ship and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
• To run your account, wishlist and saved addresses.
• To reply to your messages.
• To send new-drop emails if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe from any email.
• To meet legal duties such as GST and accounting records.
• To find and fix problems and prevent fraud or abuse.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the site. Your bag and wishlist are remembered in your browser’s local storage so they are still there when you return. You can clear these any time in your browser settings, but you may then need to sign in again and rebuild your bag.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the services that help us serve you:

• Courier and logistics partners, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your parcel.
• Our hosting and database provider, which stores the site and its data on our behalf.
• Our payment provider, once online payments are enabled.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data or share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep order and invoice records for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Account details are kept while your account is open. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to help you. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold, correct it, or erase it, and you can withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time. We will act on valid requests within a reasonable time, apart from records we must keep by law. Write to info@eeshani.in from the email address on your account.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS and stored with access controls so that customers can see only their own account data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your login private.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and its date. For anything unclear, contact us.
